1. Lowe Lintas Appoints Kedar Teny as CEO

Lowe Lintas has appointed Kedar Teny as its chief executive officer. According to The Economic Times, Teny moves from – Avataar.me – a visual discovery platform, where he served as senior vice president and country head. Kedar will spearhead transformation and widen its sphere of impact through hyperbundled solutions to clients and brand owners.

2. Havas Group India Appoints Pritha Dasgupta as CMO

Havas Group India has appointed Pritha Dasgupta as chief marketing officer, effective immediately. As per afaqs, she will be based in Mumbai and report to Rana Barua, Group CEO, Havas Group India. In her new role, Pritha will be driving the marketing and communications function of the Group and all the network companies and will be working closely with the senior leadership team in India and the global marketing and communications team.

3. Shamsuddin Jasani Leaves Dentsu

Shamsuddin Jasani, managing director – South Asia, Isobar, and head of dentsu Creative South Asia, has resigned. Jasani, who had founded Isobar, was given an additional role at dentsu Creative in June. As reported by campaign India, Agnello Dias, who was consulting with the organisation on a few key brands, is also exiting the agency completely.

Mark D’Arcy, vice president global business marketing and chief creative officer, Facebook has quit. The development comes months after Carolyn Everson left the platform after a decade of association. As per The Economic Times, D’Arcy joined Facebook in 2011 as VP, chief creative officer, Facebook Creative Shop, after two decades of working in advertising and media.

5. Mediabrands Appoints Dharesheni Nedumaran as Head of DEI, APAC

Mediabrands has appointed global inclusion and diversity (I&D) specialist Dharesheni Nedumaran to a newly-created role as head of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across Asia-Pacific.  Her new remit will involve developing a long-term strategy for IPG’s media agency network in APAC to help increase representation, create a culture of belonging and contribution, and promote equity and fairness. As per campaign India, she will based in the Mediabrands APAC regional headquarters in Singapore.
