TikTok released its transparency report for the first half of 2019 where it revealed data on takedown requests, the countries making them, and the per cent of requests it addresses. Among the nations TikTok operates in, India stood out for making the maximum requests of 109 followed by 68 from the US.

Volkswagen bids goodbye to its iconic car Beetle, after more than eight decades with an integrated campaign. Titled ‘The Last Mile,’ it features a 90-second animated film set to ‘Let It Be’ by the Beatles as sung by the Pro Musica Youth Chorus.

Sonny Mehta, editor-in-chief of the publishing house Alfred A Knopf passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019. He was also the chairperson of Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group in New York.
