1. Havas Group acquired digital agency Langoor

Havas Group has acquired independent digital agency Langoor which will be rebranded as Langoor Havas.  It will be led by its co-founder Venugopal Ganganna who takes on the newly-created position of Chief Digital Officer, Havas Group India.

2. Fashion company Provogue set to be liquidated

Fashion brand Provogue (India) has been asked to dissolve by National Company Law Tribunal after the lenders did not agree on the offers on the table for the company. Reported by The Economic Times, this liquidation is the result of more than a year of insolvency proceedings after the case was filed last year.

3. Motorola partnered with Flipkart to enter into India’s smart TV segment

Moving on, Motorola has partnered with Flipkart to launch smart TVs in the Indian market. The brand will take on players like Samsung, Xiaomi, Micromax and Intex who sell both smartphones and smart TVs in India.
