1. Dabur To Move ASCI Against Marico’s Saffola Brand

FMCG major Dabur India has claimed rival Marico’s Saffola Honey is adulterated and is filing a complaint with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI). According to The Economic Times, this development takes place after the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) said major honey brands such as Dabur, Patanjali, and Emami (Zandu Pure Honey) had failed a key purity test conducted by a German laboratory. Saffola Honey was one of the three big brands to have cleared the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) test that is administered across the world to test honey for its purity.

2. NBA and HARMAN Announce Multiyear Marketing Partnership

The National Basketball Association (NBA) and HARMAN today announced a multiyear marketing partnership that makes HARMAN and its JBL brand the official headphone, speaker, and audio partner of the NBA in India. As the Official Sound of the NBA in India, JBL will introduce a number of NBA elements into its retail destinations and activations in the country. As per exchange4media, the partnership will let fans interact with and experience the sound of HARMAN brands while watching basketball stars perform in every NBA game.
