1. Cannes Lions To Launch ‘Lions Live’

Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is all set to roll out Lions Live, a platform that aims to provide digital education, inspiration and networking experience that will run throughout June under the theme, ‘Creativity Matters’. It will feature masterclasses and hangouts with creative industry veterans and talks from speakers who had confirmed participation in this year’s festival. As noted by Campaign India, Lions Live will ‘peak’ during the original dates of the festival, 22-26 June 2020.  Access to Lions Live will be free of charge to all.

In a bid to spread awareness about the coronavirus, Google will now tell its users about the nearest COVID testing centres. As The Verge points out, if you search for anything related to COVID-19 on Google, the site will display information about coronavirus testing centres near you. The feature is only available in the US for the time being, though it may eventually get rolled out to other regions.

FCA India, manufacturer of the SUV brand ‘Jeep’, has retained Leo Burnett as its creative agency after a multi-agency pitch. The agency has been the creative partner on the account for the past 4 years. According to exchange4media, the account will continue to be handled out of the agency’s Mumbai office.

JioSaavn has launched a new service – JioSaavn YourCast, which will allow podcasters to upload their shows onto the platform, with the potential to reach JioSaavn’s base of more than 100 million engaged users across the globe.
