1. Medicom Global CEO, Stephen Allan, To Step Down

Stephen Allan, the worldwide chairman and chief executive of MediaCom, will be stepping down after more than 38 years at WPP, the agency he joined as a teenager. Allan has been global chief executive since 2008. Campaign Live reports that he will be handing control of the global media network to Nick Lawson, global chief operating officer, who becomes worldwide CEO on 1 July 2020.

2. ZEE5 Appoints Anita Nayyar as Head of Customer Strategy and Relationships

ZEE5 has appointed Anita Nayyar, former CEO of Havas Media Group, India & South East Asia as Head of Customer Strategy and Relationships. She will help build the Agency-Partner eco-system for ZEE5 India Business. As noted by exchange4media, ZEE5 has also appointed Dhruvadeep Roy as Director Product – AdTech and Jayesh Easwaramony as a Consultant for AdTech.  As per the company, these new hires along with the current team will be spearheading the next phase of ZEE5’s advertising business growth.

3. Kinnect Bags Bausch + Lomb Digital Media Mandate

Bausch + Lomb has appointed Kinnect to handle its digital media mandate. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch.  According to Campaign India, the agency’s Delhi office will handle digital media planning including social media management, outreach, and online reputation management.
