1. Tata Group Replaces Vivo as Title Sponsor for IPL

Tata Group is set to replace Vivo as the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The decision over the sponsorship change was taken during the IPL Governing Council meeting, reports exchange4media. Vivo had pulled out of IPL sponsorship in 2020 but returned as the title sponsor in 2021.

2. BBH Appoints Alex Grieve as Global & UK Chief Creative Officer
BBH has appointed Alex Grieve as its global and UK chief creative officer, replacing Joakim Borgström. Prior to this, Grieve was chief creative officer at AMV BBDO. In his new role, Grieve will lead the creative direction and product at BBH.

3. Wavemaker India Wins Media Mandate for Tata Consumer Products
Tata Consumer Products (TCP) has awarded its consolidated media duties of media planning and buying for its India business to Wavemaker India. Wavemaker India has been the media agency for the India Packaged Beverages division of TCP that includes brands such as Tata Tea and Tata Coffee Grand. Wavemaker will now also handle media for the consolidated India business.

4. LinkedIn to Launch Audio Events
LinkedIn will launch audio events later this month. They’ll reportedly be part of the company’s forthcoming virtual events platform. As reported by The Verge, LinkedIn’s all-virtual events platform will include moderated panel-style discussions, roundtables, and fireside chats, with the formats left up to the event hosts.

5. CleverTap Appoints Jayant Kshirsagar as SVP, Marketing
Customer engagement platform CleverTap has appointed Jayant Kshirsagar as Senior Vice President of Marketing. Kshirsagar will lead the company’s marketing initiatives as it expands into new markets across the globe. He joins from high-growth startup, MarketsandMarkets.
