1. Ogilvy Appoints Julianna Richter as Global CEO of PR and Influence

Ogilvy has named Edelman and Waypoint Partners veteran, Julianna Richter as global CEO of PR and Influence. As reported by campaign India, she is set to start her new role in January 2021, reporting to Ogilvy global CEO Andy Main. Richter will be responsible for all aspects of Ogilvy’s global PR business, including reputation management, brand influence, C-suite and advocacy, media influence and employee experience.

2. PhonePe Receives Rs 150 Crore Funding from Singapore-based parent company

PhonePe has received Rs 150 crore fund infusion from its Singapore-based parent company PhonePe Pvt Ltd, Singapore, according to regulatory filings accessed by Tofler. As reported by exchange4media, PhonePe received a fund infusion worth Rs 1,710 crore from its parent company through three rounds of funding in FY20. In the last 4 years, PhonePe has crossed 250 million registered users, with over 100 million monthly active users (MAU) generating nearly one billion digital payment transactions in October 2020.

Ferrero is holding a global creative pitch for its hazelnut and cocoa spread, Nutella. The brand is looking for an agency to create communications to support various “tent-pole occasions” throughout the year.
