1. Zee Entertainment Launches Zee Plex, a ‘Cinema2Home’ Service
Zee Entertainment Enterprises has launched a new pay-per-view movie service called Zee Plex that will be available on both television and digital platforms. As reported by livemint, Zee Plex aims to bring theatres to consumers’ homes. Zee has partnered with distribution players such as Dish D2H, Tata Sky and Airtel Digital TV in India as well as platforms in the international market. To be launched on 2 October 2020, the ‘cinema-to-home’ offering will also be accessible on ZEE5.


2. PepsiCo India Partners With Airtel
PepsiCo India has inked a co-branding pact with Bharti Airtel under which prepaid users of Airtel will get up to 2GB of free 4G data on purchase of Lay’s, Kurkure, Uncle Chipps and Doritos snack packs from 1 September 2020. With this partnership, Pepsico India is looking to leverage the upsurge in mobile internet consumption for boosting snack sales as more people continue working from home in these times of covid. As per The Economic Times, Airtel will get its branding splashed on packs of Lay’s, Kurkure, Uncle Chipps and Doritos, and also on supporting ads on TV channels being put up by PepsiCo India.


3. Dentsu Aegis Network Elevates Ajit Devraj and Anupama Ramaswamy

Dentsu Aegis Network has announced the elevations of Ajit Devraj and Anupama Ramaswamy as managing partners.  Devraj was executive vice president prior while Ramaswamy was national creative director.
