Viacom18 has appointed Vivek Mohan Sharma as Head of Branded Content, Viacom18. In his new role, Vivek will be responsible for leading branded content and solutions at the network level. He will also be responsible for driving branded solutions for Viacom18’s Hindi Mass Entertainment, Regional Entertainment and Kids TV clusters leveraging its broadcast and social reach. As per exchange4media, he will be reporting to Mahesh Shetty, Head – Network Sales, Viacom18.


2. Chanel Launches Global Media Review

Chanel is conducting a review of its global media-buying arrangements and has contacted leading agency groups. As per campaign Asia, WPP has retained the account since 2013 when it set up a specialist shop, Plus, that drew on resources primarily from Mindshare as well as MEC, now known as Wavemaker, plus Ogilvy and AKQA. MEC previously had a relationship with Chanel that went back another decade.
