Ogilvy India has elevated Hephzibah Pathak as vice chairperson. Pathak who was most recently chief client officer, will take over the new role on 1 August 2020. Pathak had joined Ogilvy in Chennai in 1997 before moving to the Mumbai office in 1999.

mcgarrybowen India, the creative agency from the house of Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN), has named Nishi Kant as its new President. Prior to this, Kant was EVP and Branch head, Dentsu Webchutney, Delhi and Mumbai. In his new role, Kant will spearhead the agency across its three offices in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. He will continue to report into Sidharth Rao, Chairman, mcgarrybowen India & Dentsu Webchutney.

3. L&K Saatchi & Saatchi Wins Creative Mandate Of Sesa

L&K Saatchi & Saatchi has won the creative mandate of Ayurvedic haircare brand, Sesa. According to The Economic Times, the agency will manage creative duties for all leading brands under Sesa portfolio including Sesa Ayurvedic Hair Oil and Shampoo, Sesa+ Ayurvedic Strong Roots Oil and Shampoo, Sesa Ayurvedic+ Hair Spa, among others.


4. Zee5 Launches ‘Zee5 Club’

Zee5 has launched ‘Zee5 Club’ a premium paid offering that gives subscribers access to shows before they telecast on TV. The platform will also consist of Zee5 and AltBalaji shows, movies, Zee Zindagi shows and more than 90 live TV channels. As per campaign India, consumers can be part of the Zee5 Club at Rs 365 per year.

5. Ministry Of Home Affairs To Reopen Cinemas In August

The ministry of home affairs is likely to allow reopening of cinemas in the latest set of guidelines to be issued as part of Unlock 3.0 in August. As noted by livemint, media and entertainment industry experts said the ministry of information and broadcasting has written to MHA to consider reopening of movie theatres that have been shut in India since the middle of March. All properties are set to only operate at 50% of their capacity.
