1. Google Backs Dunzo in $40 million Funding Round

Delivery startup Dunzo has raised a fresh round of $40 million in capital from a clutch of investors including Google and Lightbox, among others. As per livemint, the funding round saw participation from new and existing investors, which brings its to-date raise to $121 million. Last year, Google had announced that it will be investing $10 billion in India. It has already invested $4.5 billion in Jio Platforms and recently backed social news app Dailyhunt and Glance, a part of InMobi Group.

ZEE Entertainment Enterprises has roped in Nimisha Pandey to head the Hindi Originals for its digital entertainment platform, ZEE5. As per afaqs, she will be responsible for creating quality original content for ZEE5. In her previous stint, Nimisha was associated with Netflix as the Director for International Originals.
