1. FCB Group India Restructures, Adds New Creative Agency

FCB Group India has announced an organisational restructure which includes the launch of a new creative unit and elevations within the group. The Group, which had FCB Ulka and FCB Interface as creative offerings, has added FCB India. These three agencies will be a part of FCB Group India. Nitin Karkare has been elevated to the role of vice chairman, FCB Ulka. Swati Bhattacharya is now creative chairperson, FCB India. Robby Mathew has been promoted as vice chairman and CCO, FCB Interface and Joe Thaliath is now vice chairman and CEO, FCB Interface.


2. TCS Partners with SonyLIV

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a strategic partnership with streaming platform, SonyLIV to help create an innovative business model. The partnership will leverage TCS’ digital capabilities and innovation ecosystem to define SonyLIV’s platform transformation roadmap for India and global markets. As reported by livemint, TCS will help provide personalized experiences to SonyLIV subscribers across devices. It will also help SonyLIV use data and insights to monetize content and create new revenue streams.


3. Flipkart Eliminates Single-Use Plastic Packaging


Flipkart has eliminated all single-use plastic packaging, in line with the commitment it had made in 2019 to move to plastic-free packaging in its own supply chain by 2021. This has been achieved across more than 70 facilities of Flipkart in the country. According to The Hindu, the firm has also committed to a 100% transition to electric vehicles in its city logistics network by 2030.


4. Zee Media Appoints Abhishek Nigam as COO, Digital Business

Zee Media has appointed Abhishek Nigam as its Chief Operating Officer for the digital business. He will helm the entire digital operations for Zee Media. As per exchange4media, Abhishek has worked with Airtel, Times Internet and Jagran Group, prior to this.

5. Rediffusion Appoints Vivek Bahl as SVP, Rediffusion SmartMedia

Rediffusion has appointed Vivek Bahl as SVP, Rediffusion SmartMedia.  As noted by campaign India, Bahl will be based in New Delhi and will be leading the agency in North and East India. He moves from Havas Group where he was head of social.
