1. S4 Capital Reports a 71% Increase in Organic Revenue

Sir Martin Sorrell’s S4 Capital reported a 71% year-on-year increase in organic revenue (reported as “gross profit”) to £104m ($144m) for the first three months of 2021. The company also posted a 33% increase on a like-for-like basis. As reported by campaign India, the business announced that it has half a billion pounds in “firepower” to chase more company mergers. The group is targeting 30% organic revenue growth this year, up from a previous target of 25%. In 2020 the business posted 19.4% growth in organic revenue to £295m.


2. Star India Pledges Rs 50 Cr for India’s COVID-19 Relief


Star India has pledged financial support of Rs 50 crore for India’s ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts. As reported by exchange4media, the proceeds will be utilized to aid relief efforts and towards the procurement of critical healthcare equipment, including oxygen concentrators, BiPAP, and ventilators along with setting up oxygen plants across hospitals.

3. World of Hyatt Appoints Ogilvy as Global Creative Agency


Ogilvy has been selected as the global creative agency for Hyatt’s guest loyalty program, World of Hyatt.  Ogilvy will lead creative, experience and strategy for World of Hyatt’s member communications, promotions and enhancements. As per campaign India, the account was previously held by Forsman and Bodenfors, which World of Hyatt ended its partnership with at the end of April.


4. Mars Wrigley Appoints Varun Kandhari as Director Marketing and Customer Marketing

Mars Wrigley has appointed Varun Kandhari as the director marketing and customer marketing for India. Kandhari has been with the organisation for 7 years, is based in the Gurugram office and succeeds Yogesh Tewari. As reported by The Economic Times, Kandhari will be responsible for leading the marketing and customer marketing functions for Mars Wrigley India across all categories.
