1. IPG Names Mish Fletcher as Chief Growth Officer, APAC

Interpublic Group has named Mish Fletcher as its first chief growth officer for the Asia-Pacific region. As reported by campaign India, she joins from FCB Six in New York, where she was executive vice president and global growth officer. In her new role, Fletcher will work across the region, partnering with IPG agencies to ensure that the company is delivering the best marketing solutions to help drive growth for clients.


2. L’Oreal India Announces Key Elevations

L’Oreal India has elevated four leaders from the India management team to regional leadership roles, as per exchange4media. Kavita Angre, Director – Consumer & Market insights and Media, will now head Consumer & Market Insights for ​South Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa (SAPMENA). Aalok Oke’s role has been expanded from Director of India Operations to Deputy Director – Operations, SAPMENA. Yogesh Suradkar will head Research & Innovation for SAPMENA and Rajesh Gopal will take on the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Middle East & North Africa, in addition to his responsibilities as CIO India.


3. Viacom18 Signs Broadcasting Deal with LaLiga

Viacom18 Media has signed a three-year-long broadcasting deal with Spanish football league LaLiga. As part of the agreement, Viacom18’s flagship youth television brand MTV will exclusively telecast LaLiga matches in the Indian sub-continent for the next three years. According to livemint, LaLiga will also be live-streamed on Viacom’s over-the-top video streaming platform Voot, and Jio platforms.


4. VMLY&R Bags Jockey India’s Digital Mandate

VMLY&R India has bagged the digital communications mandate for Jockey India. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch.  As noted by campaign India, the agency’s Mumbai office will handle the mandate that includes digital strategy, planning and creative solutions.


5. OYO appoints Nitin Thakur as Head of Communications

OYO has appointed Nitin Thakur as the Head of Communications. As per exchange4media, he would be a part of OYO’s global leadership team.
