1. Google Cloud Elevates Karan Bajwa as APAC Leader

Google Cloud has elevated Karan Bajwa as the company’s leader across Asia Pacific. Bajwa, who currently leads Google Cloud in India, will now lead all regional revenue and go-to-market operations for Google Cloud, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace from 5 January 2020. As per campaign India, he will continue to lead Google Cloud in India until a new senior leader for the business is appointed.   

2. Vi Partners with Firework

Telecom operator Vi (formerly known as Vodafone Idea) has inked a strategic partnership with story publishing platform, Firework. The partnership allows Vi to leverage Firework’s content repository from global content studios and also get access to unique occupational generated content (OGC) creators. According to afaqs, the collaboration is aimed at enhancing Vi’s customer experience and Firework’s reach significantly.

3. VIP Industries Appoints Anindya Dutta as MD

VIP Industries today announced the appointment of Anindya Dutta as the Managing Director (MD) of the company with effect from 1 February 2021. As per livemint, the news comes after the company’s current MD Sudip Ghose resigned from the company. Prior to joining VIP Industries, Anindya Dutta was the Managing Director of Havmor Ice Creams.

4. Nikhil Dey Joins Adfactors PR as Executive Director

Nikhil Dey has joined Adfactors PR as executive director. He moves from Weber Shandwick where he was vice chairman. As noted by campaign India, Dey will be based in Delhi and will be in charge of Adfactors PR’s north-based business.

5. India TV Appoints Nikhil Mathur as Marketing Head

India TV has appointed Nikhil Mathur as marketing head, as per afaqs. He joins from TV9 where he was assistant vice president of marketing and events. Nikhil has also worked with PTC Punjabi Network and Zee News in the past.
