1. Netflix to Set Up Post-Production Facility in Mumbai

Netflix is setting up its first global, fully owned, live-action, full-service post-production facility in Mumbai. It will have 40 offline editing rooms designed as a flexible, collaborative, and inspiring environment for showrunners, directors, editors, and sound designers. As per exchange4media, this will be fully operational by June 2022.


2. WarnerMedia Appoints Amit Malhotra as MD, HBO Max in SEA and India

WarnerMedia has appointed Amit Malhotra as managing director for HBO Max in Southeast Asia and India. He will report to Johannes Larcher, head of HBO Max International, and will be responsible for the rollout and management of WarnerMedia’s direct-to-consumer platform in Southeast Asia. The program aims to provide a platform for research and mentorship on topics related to technology law and policy. The actress has vowed to empower women in her upcoming campaign with the beauty brand. She joins the likes of Viola Davis, Eva Longoria, Aishwarya Rai and Dame Helen Mirren in the role.

Benetton India has appointed Ramprasad Sridharan as the retailer’s new chief executive officer and managing director for the country.
