Coca Cola India today announced the launch of two new products under its Minute Maid umbrella – Minute Maid Vita Punch and Minute Maid Nutri Force. Both these products are meant to help boost immunity and will be sold in tetra pak packaging. As reported by afaqs, this initiative underlines Coca-Cola India’s focus on the ‘Fruit Circular Economy’ initiative, enabling farmers to increase their yield by sourcing fruits to launch fruit-based beverages.


2. Gayatri Yadav Joins Sequoia India As CMO

Gayatri Yadav has joined Sequoia India as the Chief Marketing Officer. As noted by exchange4media, Shailendra J Singh, VC at Sequoia India made the announcement on Twitter. Yadav was earlier President of Consumer Strategy and Innovation at Star India. She moved on from Star in July 2019.

3. WhatsApp Rolls Out New Feature To Fight Misinformation

WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature in select markets that makes it easier for users to verify whether the assertions made in messages they have received on the app are true. The new feature called ‘search the web’ will enable users to click on a magnifying glass-shaped icon next to frequently forwarded messages (those that have been forwarded at least five times) to search the web for their contents and verify them. As noted by TechCrunch, the new feature is currently in pilot stage and available across WhatsApp’s Android, iOS, and Web apps.
