1. Facebook Puts $750 Million Global Media Account Up For Review

Facebook has put its $750 million global media account up for review. According to campaign US, the pitch is being managed by ID Comms. Mindshare and Dentsu are the incumbents and are participating in the pitch, which includes media planning and buying across Facebook’s entire business—Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Messenger. The media pitch marks the latest massive advertiser to put its global account up for review in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

2. PUMA Signs Long-term Partnership with RCB

Sports brand PUMA has signed a strategic long-term partnership with Royal Challengers Bangalore. Under the terms of the deal, PUMA will be the official kit partner of the team from the upcoming IPL 2021 season. As reported by The Economic Times, PUMA will have exclusive retailing rights to RCB’s take down and replica jerseys, adding pan-India merchandise reach for the franchise across retail and e-commerce channels.


3. Madison Media Exist Sri Lanka

Madison Media has exited the Sri Lanka business after Media Factory purchased a majority stake in the company. As per campaign India, Sam Balsara has also resigned as Director, Madison Media Sri Lanka and the company’s name has also been changed to Midas Media. It will now become a fully owned subsidiary of Media Factory.  


4. Havas Media Wins Integrated Mandate for Micromax

Havas Media India has won the integrated mandate of Micromax Informatics. The mandate includes both traditional and digital media as well as creative and strategy for the brand. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch and will be handled out of the agency’s Gurgaon office led by Uday Mohan, President – North & West India, Havas Media.
