1. Adani Wilmar buys Kohinoor brand
Adani Wilmar Ltd announced the acquisition of several brands from McCormick Switzerland GMBH. The acquisition gives Adani Wilmar exclusive rights over the brand Kohinoor basmati rice along with ‘ready to cook’ and ‘ready to eat’ curries and meals portfolio.

2. BBH marks 40th anniversary
BBH is marking its 40th year with the launch of a global short film competition – “Differently Does It”. Four filmmaking teams from four different countries will be commissioned, with the aim of finding more diverse voices in film.

3. TV18’s operating profit up 29% YoY
For FY22, the company’s consolidated margins rose to 18.8%, highest ever, despite intermittent COVID impact. Operating profit rests at Rs 1,039 cr in FY22, and revenue grew by 14% YoY led by growth in advertising revenues.

Family daily active people (DAP) was 2.87 Bn on average for March 2022, an increase of 6% YoY. Ad impressions delivered across the Family of Apps increased by 15% YoY and the average price per ad decreased by 8% YoY
