1. Reliance Launches JioMeet
Reliance Jio has launched a free video-conferencing application called JioMeet, taking on US-based Zoom platform. As noted by The Economic Times, the app can be used for 1:1 video calls and hosting meetings with up to 100 participants with enterprise-grade host controls. Other highlights include easy sign up with either mobile number or email ID, meeting in HD audio and video quality.


2. Intel Capital Invests Rs 1894 Cr In Reliance Industries & Jio Platforms
Reliance Industries Limited and Jio Platforms Limited have announced that Intel Capital will invest Rs 1,894.50 crore in Jio Platforms at an equity value of Rs 4.91 lakh crore and an enterprise value of Rs 5.16 lakh crore. As per exchange4media, Intel Capital’s investment will translate into a 0.39% equity stake in Jio Platforms on a fully diluted basis. Intel Capital joins the list of firms who have recently invested in Jio Platforms, taking the total investment amount to Rs 117,588.45 crore.


3. TVF Appoints Vijay Koshy As President
Vijay Koshy, who was earlier Heading Brand Partnerships is making a comeback to head The Viral Fever (TVF), the online content company founded by Arunabh Kumar. As per exchange4media, Koshy has been appointed as the President of TVF. He joins from Arre where he was director, advertising and brand partnerships.


4. Lenovo India Appoints Shree Das As Communication Lead, India
Lenovo India has appointed Shree Das as Communications Lead, India for the PC and Smart Devices category. Das joins from Xiaomi India where she was serving as Lead- Corporate Communications. She will be responsible for all internal and external communications for the company.

BookMyShow, India’s leading out-of-home entertainment and ticketing company, has developed its own video streaming platform exclusively for live events. As per yourstory.com, the platform is called BookMyShow Online and it will offer paid and free performances across music, comedy, and other performing arts to its users not just in India, but also across USA, North America, UK, Germany, UAE, South East Asia, and West Indies.
