1. Vishnu Mohan Quits Havas After a 25-year stint

Vishnu Mohan, Chairman and CEO at Havas Group Southeast Asia, India and North Asia, has put down his papers after 25 years with the organisation. Mohan will continue to serve as the chairman of the Vivendi Committee Southeast Asia and India, reporting to Simon Gillham, the Chairman of Vivendi Village and Senior Executive VP, Communication and member of the Vivendi Management Board, as per exchange4media.

2. VMLY&R and Geometry Launch VMLY&R COMMERCE

VMLY&R and Geometry have joined forces to launch VMLY&R COMMERCE, a new end-to-end ‘creative commerce company’ as reported by exchange4media. Led by Global Chief Executive Officer Beth Ann Kaminkow, VMLY&R COMMERCE will operate as a distinct company within the VMLY&R global operation. In India, VMLY&R COMMERCE ENCOMPASS launches today, combining VMLY&R, Geometry and Encompass commerce strengths to scale shopper, retail activation, experiential and rural marketing practices. 

3. Fox Appoints Varun Narang as Chief Product Officer

Fox Corporation has appointed Varun Narang as chief product officer. In this role, Narang will oversee all Fox-branded streaming products, platforms and engineering talent. According to exchange4media, he will also be responsible to accelerate the growth of Fox’s current and future digital streaming offerings. Narang joins Fox from Disney+ Hotstar.

4. Havas Launches ‘Havas Spark’ for Freshers

Havas Group India has rolled out an internship opportunity for freshers. As noted by campaign India, the program is titled Havas Spark and aims to help freshers with career development opportunities through practical experience. This also allows Havas Group India to tap into young and talented individuals with new-age skills and fresh perspectives on business issues. The program is structured to offer the selected participants a six-month internship involving both formal and on-the-job learning opportunities, working on live projects, and a chance to gain full-time employment post completion of the duration.

5. Nykaa Appoints Shalini Raghavan as CMO

Nykaa has appointed Shalini Raghavan as chief marketing officer. Previously, Shalini was the CMO at L’Oréal India for around 2 years. As per afaqs, she has also worked in leadership roles at Hindustan Unilever Limited where she handled marketing and business development of brands such as Lux and Lakmé, and was the global brand director (Asian and African) of Dove Masterbrand.
