DDB Worldwide has elevated Martin O’Halloran, the erstwhile CEO and Chairman of DDB Australia and New Zealand, as the Global CEO. As per adage, O’Halloran will oversee operations across the global network in his new role. He has been with DDB for 19 years.

2. Bharti Airtel Appoints Ganesh Lakshminarayanan As CEO, Business Enterprise  
Bharti Airtel has appointed Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as chief executive officer (CEO) of the company’s enterprise business, as reported by livemint. Lakshminarayanan will succeed Ashish Arora, who has been promoted as the CEO for global business. Arora will look at expanding Bharti Airtel’s global networks while Lakshminarayanan will look at strengthening Airtel’s market leadership in the business-to-business segment and drive growth on the digital transformation front. He will report to Ajay Chitkara, who is the director for Airtel Business.

3. Dentsu Aegis Network Appoints Soumitra Karnik As CCO, Dentsu India
Dentsu Aegis Network has appointed Soumitra Karnik, currently chief creative officer (CCO) at Dentsu Impact and macgarrybowen India, with the additional charge of CCO, Dentsu India. He will assume this role for Dentsu India, in Bangalore immediately. As noted by The Economic Times, Karnik will lead Dentsu India’s creative output nationally and will be responsible for maintaining client-agency relationships for the agency across its offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Kochi.

4. WYP Bags Integrated Creative Mandate For ZEE5’s HiPi
WYP Brand Solutions has bagged the integrated creative mandate for ZEE5’s newly launched short video platform, HiPi. The mandate includes managing the mainline, digital, social and experiential brand requirements. According to The Economic Times, WYP and ZEE5 have been working together on projects for some time. The recent ‘Atrangi Dekho, Atrangi Raho’ campaign for ZEE5 Premium was done by WYP.
