1. BMW Group India Appoints Vikram Pawah As President, BMW Group India

Vikram Pawah has been appointed as the president of BMW Group India, effective 1 August 2020 along with his present role as chief executive officer of BMW Group Australia and New Zealand.  As per campaign India, Pawah has been with the BMW Group since 2017 and was appointed the CEO of BMW Group Australia and New Zealand in July 2018. The news comes after the demise of Rudratej Singh, president and chief executive officer, in April 2020. Since then, Arlindo Teixeira, chief financial officer has been carrying out the role as acting President.

2. Porsche India Appoints L&K Saatchi & Saatchi To Handle Communications Mandate

Porsche India has appointed L&K Saatchi & Saatchi to handle its communications mandate comprising both mainline and digital.  According to The Economic Times, the account was won following a multi-agency pitch. L&K Saatchi & Saatchi’s Mumbai office will handle the account for a period of two years.

3. Disney+ Hotstar Hires Sunil Rayan As President & Head

Sunil Rayan has joined Disney+ Hotstar as president and head. As noted by campaign India, he moves from Google where he was MD, Google Cloud for Games.  Prior to Google, Rayan was with McKinsey. He has also worked with IBM, iGate Mastech and Infosys.

4. Tide Ropes In Ayushmann Khurrana

Tide has appointed actor Ayushmann Khurrana as their brand ambassador for India. As reported by adgully, Khurrana will be seen in a series of advertisements across television, digital and other mediums. The first ad, featuring the actor for the Tide Ultra variant, has already gone live today.

5. Jockey Assigns Digital Mandate To Pink Lemonade Communications

Global innerwear and apparel brand, Jockey, has assigned its digital mandate to Bangalore-based, Pink Lemonade communications. As per the mandate, the agency will handle digital duties including creative ideation, content strategy and creation and social media marketing. As mentioned by afaqs, these efforts will be geared towards enabling Jockey to take the next leap in their eCommerce journey.
