1. Pepperfry Appoints Naveen Murali as VP & Head of Marketing
Pepperfry has appointed Naveen Murali as Vice President and Head of Marketing. In his new role, Murali will lead Pepperfry’s marketing and brand strategies with an aim to drive brand awareness across untapped markets as well as capture share in the furniture and home décor industry. Prior to this, Naveen was associated with brands like Asian Paints and Oracle across business and marketing roles.

2. TikTok Launches TikTok Kitchens
TikTok is partnering with Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC) to launch TikTok Kitchens, a delivery-only service that will cook up some of the trendiest recipes on the app. As reported by The Verge, TikTok Kitchens is essentially a ghost kitchen service that will make use of a restaurant’s existing kitchen and employees. For now, TikTok and VDC will operate around 300 locations across the US only.

3. iProspect India Appoints Nitin Sabharwal as Managing Partner, North
iProspect India has appointed Nitin Sabharwal as Managing Partner, North. He will also lead the agency’s affiliate marketing function, nationally as well as be tasked with client relationship management, business operations, and new channel development. He will report to Vinod Thadani, CEO iProspect India & Digital Growth Officer India, Dentsu Media.

4. Vijay Rajput Retires from Discovery, Ruchir Jain Takes Over
Vijay Rajput, SVP – affiliate sales and business head, Eurosport, has decided to move on from Discovery and retire on 31 December 2021. As per campaign India, Rajput had joined Discovery after a 16-year stint with ESPN.  Ruchir Jain, who has been heading finance at Discovery – South Asia for over three years, will take over from Rajput to lead the distribution and Eurosport business. 

5. Tenable Appoints Nigel Ng as VP, APAC
Cyber Exposure company Tenable has appointed Nigel Ng, as vice president for Asia Pacific (APAC). Ng will lead Tenable’s go-to-market strategy and oversee the evolution of the business in the APAC region, which has experienced significant growth in recent years. He succeeds Gary Jackson who will be retiring after serving 50 years in the technology industry.
