Omnicom has promoted Daryl Simm, the global head of its media-buying operation, to president and chief operating officer. Simm has worked at Omnicom since 1998 and was previously a long-serving executive at Procter & Gamble. As reported by Campaign UK, the new role is effective immediately.

Amazon Pay and MakeMyTrip India have announced a strategic, long-term partnership to offer travel services on Amazon.in which includes its suite of mobile apps and websites. As per The Economic Times, the partnership will enable MakeMyTrip to extend its distribution in smaller cities and towns and accelerate online booking of travel services across the country. This will also help Amazon Pay create a convenient experience and provide greater value for its customers with access to MakeMyTrip’s travel offerings.
