1. Publicis Groupe Launches PubHub, Appoints Rajesh Ghatge as CGO

Publicis Groupe has launched PubHub, a new model that will create bespoke marketing transformation solutions at scale through the integration of capabilities across data, content, technology, production, and commerce. As per livemint, PubHub will be led by Indigo Consulting chief executive Rajesh Ghatge, who has additionally taken the role of chief growth officer, Publicis Groupe India. PubHub will be servicing close to 90 brands across 90 markets.


2. AT&T-Discovery Media Company to be Called ‘Warner Bros. Discovery


Discovery Inc has announced that the newly created global entertainment and media business with Discovery and WarnerMedia assets will be named ‘Warner Bros. Discovery’. Last month, AT&T Inc and Discovery said that they would combine content from WarnerMedia and Discovery’s unscripted shows from lifestyle TV networks. As per The Economic Times, the deal underscores the movement of TV viewership to streaming, where scale is required to take on the likes of Netflix.


3. Clubhouse Ropes in Aarthi Ramamurthy as Head of International

Clubhouse, the invite-only social audio app, has roped in Aarthi Ramamurthy as head of international. According to The Economic Times, Ramamurthy was leading the product efforts at Facebook’s communities product group, responsible for helping people build healthy, sustainable communities on the platform.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) has promoted Manish Agarvwal as VP and Head Marketing of its lifestyle channel Zee Zest. Agarvwal will be handling marketing and branding verticals for Zee Zest TV channel, social media assets, events and website. As per exchange4media, Agarvwal has been associated with ZEEL for over seven years and was the head of marketing for the channel in his previous role.


5. Tata Sky Launches ‘Tata Sky Binge’


Tata Sky has launched ‘Tata Sky Binge’ mobile app. As noted by exchange4media, the app features curated content from multiple streaming services. With a single subscription and a unified user interface, consumers will be able to access partner apps such as Disney+ Hotstar Premium, ZEE5, SunNxt, Hungama Play, Eros Now, ShemarooMe, Voot Select, Voot Kids, SonyLIV and CuriosityStream. Amazon Prime Video can also be accessed with an additional prime subscription.
