Essence has promoted Tim Irwin to the role of Global Chief Operating Officer. Irwin had joined Essence in 2018 as COO, EMEA and was promoted to chief executive a year later. In his new role, which will be based in London, he will manage the agency’s global growth strategy and operations.

In its largest purchase ever, Microsoft will pay $95 per share in cash to Activision Blizzard. As per livemint, Activision’s stable of popular titles will help Microsoft expand its own offerings for the Xbox console and better compete with rival Sony Corp.’s PlayStation.
