Reliance Industries is in talks to buy online furniture retailer, Urban Ladder, the Times of India reported today. As per the article, the talks are at an advanced stage and a deal could be pegged at around $30 million. The news comes as the COVID-19 pandemic forces many Indians indoors, spurring a wave of online shopping.

Fortis Healthcare has announced that it will rebrand the name of the company and its subsidiaries to ‘Parkway’ in relation to the hospital business, to disassociate itself from the erstwhile promoters. ‘Parkway’ is a brand in the field of healthcare, belonging to Malaysian health care major, IHH Group, the parent of Northern TK Venture. Northern TK Venture is the promoter of Fortis with 31 per cent shareholding. As per The Economic Times, its diagnostic arm, SRL will also look for a new brand name and logo.
