1. Marico Launches Ayurvedic Products

Marico has launched immunity-boosting products under its Saffola brand as the pandemic piques consumer interest in items with natural ingredients. As reported by livemint, the products under Saffola ImmuniVeda include a Saffola Kadha mix and Saffola turmeric milk mix, expanding the flagship cooking oil brand which also sells packaged oats, honey and gourmet foods. These will be available across modern trade outlets, Saffola Stores and e-commerce platforms.

2. Unacademy Elevates Karan Shroff As CMO

Unacademy has announced the elevation of Karan Shroff as chief marketing officer. Shroff was vice president – marketing prior.  As noted by campaign India, Shroff joined Unacademy in 2019 from Xiaomi where he led brand marketing.  According to a statement from the edtech platform, Unacademy’s subscriber base has grown 100% largely due to the marketing efforts undertaken by Shroff and the team.

3. Simran Hoon Quits Viacom18 Media

Simran Hoon, executive vice president and head of ad sales at Viacom18 Media, has stepped down from the post nearly after 13 years of association with the company, as per The Economic Times. In the past, Hoon was associated as SVP, Zee Network; SVP at Star India and as a group manager at Sony Entertainment Television.

4. Mumbai Indians Partners With 4 Global Brands For The Indian Premiere League 2020

Mumbai Indians has partnered with four brands namely Marriott Bonvoy, Colgate, Cadbury Dairy Milk and William Lawson for IPL 2020. According to The Economic Times, these are all multi-year deals. Mumbai Indians will also be continuing with brands like Samsung, Usha, Colors and Jio from previous seasons.
