1. Publicis Groupe Promotes Magnus Djaba as Global Chief Client Officer
Publicis Groupe has promoted Magnus Djaba as global chief client officer. Djaba will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring “seamless access” for global clients to Publicis’ capabilities in data, creativity, media, and technology. As per campaign UK, he will also be a part of the Groupe’s management committee.  

2. Johnson & Johnson Reshuffles Iconic Brands
Johnson & Johnson intends to spin off its consumer health portfolio into a standalone company, reports campaign India. As a result, the pharmaceutical and medical device businesses will continue to sit within Johnson & Johnson, with the slimmed-down company retaining the J&J name. Meanwhile, a separate consumer firm will house the franchises that the unit has come to be known for such as Tylenol pain medicines, Neutrogena skin products and the Johnson’s baby line.

Disney+Hotstar has appointed Shalini Poddar as EVP – head of ad sales. Shalini will be leading teams across all aspects of the ads business from business planning, sales and sales strategy. Previously, she worked with Google as Head of Business Development.

4. Myntra Launches Luxury Store
Myntra has unveiled a dedicated luxury section on its platform that will see the retailer sell 65 premium brands. Myntra has partnered with Aditya Birla Fashion Retail’s ‘The Collective’, a multi-brand luxury lifestyle retailer to offer a wider range of high-end clothing, accessories, bags and shoes on its site. According to livemint, this pits Myntra against Tata Group’s Tata Cliq Luxury as well as Reliance Retail’s Ajio Luxe that sell high-end bags, watches, shoes and other products.

Tilt Brand Solutions has appointed Sirish Suveer as senior director – business. He will report to Rajiv Chatterjee, Tilt’s co-founder and chief business officer.  As noted by campaign India, he moves from Publicis India where he was SVP.
