Snap Inc. has launched Spotlight in India, its new entertainment platform for user-generated content within Snapchat. As per exchange4media, Spotlight surfaces the most entertaining Snaps from the Snapchat community all in one place. It is aimed at empowering the Snapchat community to express themselves and reach a large audience in a new way.

2. Publicis Appoints Amrita Randhawa as CEO, Southeast Asia

Publicis Groupe has appointed Amrita Randhawa as CEO, Southeast Asia. In her new role, Randhawa will supervise all aspects of the business, including creative, media, influence, production, commerce, data, tech and clients. As reported by exchange4media, Randhawa joins Publicis from Mindshare where she was CEO, Asia Pacific.

3. Viacom18 Announces Changes in its Leadership Team

Viacom18 has announced changes in its leadership team with the aim to bolster its digital and broadcast businesses, as per campaign India. Ferzad Palia has been handed the expanded mandate as head – SVOD and international business, Viacom18 Digital Ventures. Further, Anshul Ailawadi, has been elevated to business head – youth, music and English entertainment. Palia will head all SVOD services and international expansion for Voot while Ailawadi will now look after the network’s youth, music and English entertainment business.

4. Madison Digital Appoints Tushar Ghagwe

Madison Digital, a unit of Madison World, has appointed Tushar Ghagwe as associate vice president and he will head the agency’s Bengaluru operations. As per The Economic Times, Ghagwe will report to Dinesh Rathod, chief executive officer, Madison Media Omega, and Vishal Chinchankar, chief digital officer, Madison Digital. Prior to this, he was handling digital marketing for SOTC Travel and Thomas Cook.
