1. PepsiCo Files Trademark Violation Case Against Parle Agro

PepsiCo has filed a trademark violation case against Parle Agro over the use of ‘For the Bold’ tagline for its beverage B Fizz. ‘For the Bold’ is a registered trademark for the Doritos nacho chips brand globally, the US beverage and packaged food multinational argued in its petition filed in the Delhi High Court. As per The Economic Times, the court has ordered Parle Agro to file a written response within a month and fixed the next date of hearing on 17 July 2021.

Google has bagged a deal to provide French luxury goods powerhouse LVMH with cloud-based artificial intelligence solutions to personalize experiences for customers and foster long-term growth. Google will also work with LVMH’s individual brands, to enhance demand forecasting and inventory and help them better recommend targeted products to clients, as per livemint. The contract, which will run for at least five years, will also include training by Google Cloud to LVMH’s staff.

Havas Group India has appointed Anjali Gupte as Chief Financial Officer. She will be based in Mumbai and will report to Rana Barua, CEO, Havas Group India and also to the APAC Group CFO, Brice Pinoncely. Prior to Grey, Anjali worked at Thomson Reuters for 17 years in the financial risk division.
