1. Sudhanshu Vats to join Pidilite as Deputy Managing Director
Pidilite Industries announced the appointment of Sudhanshu Vats as its deputy managing director. He will join the company with effect from 1 September, 2021. Vats moves from EPL (formerly known as Essel Propack), where he was MD and CEO.

2. Marico acquires 60% stake in Apcos Naturals
Marico announced the acquisition of a 60% stake in Apcos Naturals. This equity stake will be acquired over a period of two years, through primary infusion and secondary buy-outs. Apcos Naturals owns the brand Just Herbs, a line of skin and hair care offerings.

3. New marketing heads at Meesho, The Coca-Cola Company & Firefox Bikes
Lucky Saini is set to join Meesho as VP and Head of Brand Marketing, while Ruchira Bhattacharya was appointed Director of Marketing (Emerging Categories) at The Coca-Cola Company. Also, Firefox Bikes appointed Manika Sharma as Head of Marketing.

Netflix is planning to expand beyond its traditional streaming business, and make its foray into video gaming, according to reports. Former Electronic Arts and Facebook executive Mike Verdu is set to join as the vice president of game development, and will report to COO Greg Peters.
