1. Chanel Appoints Leena Nair as Global CEO
Chanel has appointed Unilever executive Leena Nair as its new Global Chief Executive, based in London. Nair’s career at Unilever spanned 30 years, most recently as the Chief of Human resources and a member of Unilever’s executive commmittee. Maureen Chiquet was CEO of Chanel for nine years until early 2016.

2. DDB Mudra Elevates Iraj Fraz Batla as Creative Head, North
DDB Mudra has elevated Iraj Fraz Batla to the position of Creative Head – North. Prior to this, he served as Executive Creative Director – West for over 3 years in the company. In his new role, Fraz will drive the creative output from the North office.

3. MX Player Launches MX Studios
MX Player has launched MX Studios, its arm to help brands engage with its audience through storytelling and scripted formats.  The platform has appointed actor Suresh Menon as the content and creative head to lead this mandate for MX Studios. 

4. Dept Launches in APAC with Vishnu Mohan as Head
Amsterdam-based digital network Dept has been launched in APAC with Vishnu Mohan leading the expansion strategy. He joins Dept as partner and chief growth officer. As per campaign India, Dept intends to scale up to 1000 people in the region by 2024. Mohan had stepped down as chairman and CEO of Havas Group Southeast Asia, India and North Asia in January 2021.
