K Madhavan has been named president, The Walt Disney Company India and Star India, effective immediately. Madhavan will drive the strategy and growth of the company in India, with responsibility for the vast Disney, Star and Hotstar businesses and operations spanning across entertainment, sports and regional channels, and direct-to-consumer. As per exchange4media, his new role includes overseeing channel distribution and advertising sales, as well as a thriving local content production business.

2. Publicis Groupe India Elevates Tanmay Mohanty as CEO, Media Services

Publicis Groupe India has announced changes in its media services domain. It is bringing together data science, programmatic and media tech, along with Zenith and Starcom, under a common leadership to strengthen focus on scaled media, real identity and data capabilities. According to campaign India, the Groupe has elevated Tanmay Mohanty as the CEO of media services, Publicis Groupe India. Prior to this role, Mohanty was CEO at Zenith. Jai Lala takes over as CEO of Zenith. He was COO prior. Rathi Gangappa continues as CEO at Starcom. Sejal Shah has been elevated as MD and head, Publicis Media Exchange (mainline and digital). She was managing partner and head of Publicis Media Exchange (mainline), and will continue to oversee Publicis-in-Motion, the Groupe’s experiential, shopper and OOH marketing practice.

3. Kotak Mahindra Bank, Official Partner of Mumbai Indians

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd (KMBL) is the official partner of Mumbai Indians (MI) for the second consecutive year. The bank is also launching a range of cricket-themed Debit and Credit Cards, designed especially for ardent MI fans. As per exchange4media, the cards will feature team visuals of the players, the Mumbai Indians logo & watermark, and the official MI team colours.

Bombay Shaving Company has appointed Gaurav Anand as senior vice president, sales and marketing. 5. SBI Awards Media Account to Prachar Communications

SBI has awarded its media account to Mumbai-based Prachar Communications. The account size is estimated at Rs 250 crore. As noted by exchange4media, Prachar won the account following a multi-agency pitch in which 26 agencies had participated.
