1. Britannia VP – Marketing Vinay Subramanyam Moves On

Vinay Subramanyam, Vice President – Marketing of Britannia Industries, has called it quits, reports exchange4media. This was his second stint at the FMCG giant. He had left Kellogg Company in 2015 to join Britannia again as country manager – health and vitality. He was first elevated to general manager – britchip foods and then to VP, marketing in 2019.

2. ASCI Highlights Six Trends That Offend Consumers

The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) has launched a report titled ‘What India takes offence to’ detailing six trends that offend the sensibilities of Indian consumers. For the report, ASCI mapped 1759 complaints against 488 advertisements received in the last three years. ASCI’s six core trends that influence consumer complaints include ads that are inappropriate for children, ads that hurt religious sentiments, ads with socially undesirable depictions for commercial gains, ads where people cross cultural boundaries, ads mocking men and ads that depict unpleasant realities.

3. Nestlé’s Tejash Chedda Moves On

Tejash Chedda, Nestlé’s senior media manager has decided to move on from the company after a 3 year stint. At Nestlé, he worked with some of the brands like Maggi, Kitkat, Nescafe, Munch and Polo. Prior to this, he worked with Star TV Network as senior manager for 5 years.

4. BharatPe Appoints Rohit Pillai as Head, Brand Marketing

BharatPe has appointed Rohit Pillai as head of brand marketing. Previously, he headed marketing at Habbit health & Nutrition for more than a year. In the past, he has worked as marketing consultant at Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters and Bira 91 as associate director.

5. Prithvi Bajaj Joins Budweiser as Senior Brand Manager

Prithvi Bajaj has been appointed as senior brand manager at Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the parent company of Budweiser. As per afaqs, Bajaj has worked at places such as Adidas, Players Union, Bajaj Finserv, AIESEC, Indiatimes, and Eureka Forbes.
