1. Titus Upputuru launches The Titus Upputuru Company
Titus Upputuru, former National Creative Director with Taproot Dentsu, has launched his own advertising and films firm – The Titus Upputuru Company. The mandate is to create content for brands and audiences across platforms.

2. Viacom18 Report: Ad Sales grow 22%
Viacom18 Media recorded a 27% growth in revenue at Rs 4145.4 crore for the fiscal ended 30th March 2022 against Rs 3276.3 crore in the previous fiscal. Ad Sales, Subscription, and Program Syndication revenue grew 22% to Rs 3908.5 crore.

3. AltBalaji reports 17% QoQ drop in subscription revenue
Balaji Telefilms video on demand platform AltBalaji has reported 17% drop (QoQ) in its subscription revenue in the first quarter of FY 2022-23. The SVoD platform sold a total of 3.1 lakh subscriptions in the quarter ending June 2022.

4. Disney+ Hotstar subscriber base jumps 27.23%
Disney+ Hotstar’s paid subscriber base jumped 30 per cent YoY to 58.4 million for the quarter ended 2nd July against 44.9 million in the same quarter last year. On a sequential basis, the paid subscriber base jumped 27.23%.

5. CleverTap to raise US$105 mn
CleverTap announced that it has signed definitive agreements to raise US$105 million in a Series D funding round led by CDPQ, a global investment group that committed US$75 million.
