1. ‘MI Emirates’ & ‘MI Cape Town’ pad up
Reliance Industries Limited, the owners of Mumbai Indians, has unveiled the name and brand identity of two new franchises, ‘MI Emirates’ in UAE’s International League T20 and ‘MI Cape Town’ in Cricket South Africa T20 League are the team names .

2. India Today Group launches Aaj Tak 2
The India Today group has announced the launch of Aaj Tak 2, a digital channel through which it aims to ‘unshackle from the boundaries of a linear medium’. The digital offering has been launched for a younger target audience.

3. ENIL Q1 Report: Rs 95.3 cr Revenue
Entertainment Network India Ltd (ENIL), the operator of FM radio channel Radio Mirchi, has reported a revenue of Rs 95.3 crore in Q1 compared to Rs 38.8 crore in the same quarter of last year. Revenue growth was driven mainly by 170.5% growth in radio.

4. Marico’s Q1 ad spends up by 14% YoY
FMCG company Marico’s advertisement and sales promotion expenses for the quarter ended 30th June have increased by 14% to Rs 199 crore from Rs 175 crore in the same quarter last year. On a QoQ basis, promotion expenses dropped by 2.45%.

5. Prasar Bharati invites applications for slots on DD Free Dish DTH
The public broadcaster Prasar Bharati has invited applications for vacant MPEG-4 slots on the DD Free Dish DTH platform on a pro-rata basis for the period 24 August 2022 to 31 March 2023.
