The New York Times (NYT) has acquired Wordle, a website-only word game, reports campaign India. With this move, NYT aims to reach its digital content to 10 million subscribers by 2025.  The investment into gaming and puzzles is a key component of NYT’s strategy to keep its audiences engaged on its apps and websites.   

2. Publicis Health Appoints Anindya Banerjee as Head, Creative
Publicis Health has appointed Anindya Banerjee as head of creative. At Publicis, he will lead the creative responsibilities for the unit and aim to develop creative offerings, while managing growth, strategy and communications output for the agency. Banerjee moves from FCB Ulka, where he was executive creative director.

Adhishree Murdia from ZEE Entertainment Enterprises is now VP – brand and content marketing at ZEE5 Global. At ZEEL, she was VP – marketing and was working towards maximizing revenue and 360 degree brand management for the Marathi movie cluster. At ZEE5 Global, she will work with the chief business officer, Archana Anand. In the past, she has worked with UTV Bindaas, BCCL and Turner International.

Revenue impact company, MarketsandMarkets, has appointed Sumantra Mukherjee as AVP of brand and communications. As part of the new role, he will be responsible for leading communications, social media, and brand for MarketsandMarkets globally, including the US, Europe, Apac, and MEA. He moves from Whitehat Jr, where he headed marketing for the company’s B2B business.

Live commerce platform Roposo has called for a creative pitch in Mumbai, according to exchange4media. Leo Burnett won the account last year and is the incumbent agency. Roposso is a business unit of Glance, a subsidiary of InMobi.
