1. TAM: Drop in digital ad insertions
According to TAM’s quarterly report, digital ad insertions in India dropped in two back-to-back quarters – April to June and July to September. A drop of 13% is witnessed during Jul-Sep ’22 over Jan-Mar’22. The April-June quarter witnessed a 7% drop.

2. Aditya Birla Capital promotes Darshana Shah
Aditya Birla Capital has promoted Darshana Shah to the new role of Head, Marketing (CMO) and Customer Experience. She was earlier the EVP – Digital, Marketing and Customer Experience at the company.

3. Aditi Anand joins L’Oréal Professionnel
Former Coca-Cola Head of Creative Strategy Aditi Anand has joined French beauty care brand L’Oréal Professionnel as its Head of Marketing. Prior to Coca-Cola, she was with HMD Global.

4. Karthi Marshan to take up advisory role at Kotak Mahindra Bank
Media reports state that Karthi Marshan is set to step down as President & Chief Marketing Officer of Kotak Mahindra Bank in January 2023. He will thereafter take on an advisory role.

5. Nestle’s policy on marketing to children
As per the company’s new marketing communication to children policy, Nestle will restrict advertisements of confectionery and ice cream as well as water-based beverages with added sugars to children below 16 years of age.
