Last year, the advertising industry witnessed a steep drop in the overall media investments because of the pandemic induced lockdown. But as we are gradually coming out of the lockdown, backed by seasonal spends and big-ticket events like IPL, the industry is expected to see a recovery this year. GroupM has unveiled its annual report ‘This Year, Next Year’ 2021 that forecasts ad spend growth globally and in India.
