1.Uber to sell its UberEats’ India business to Zomato
Uber is in advanced stages of talks to sell its food delivery service UberEats’ India business to its local rival Zomato, according to an Economic Times report. However, the sale may require it to invest 150-200 million dollars in Zomato to get a sizeable stake.
2. Swiggy’s losses pile up to Rs 2367 cr in FY19

Bundl Technologies, which runs Swiggy, clocked operating revenues of 1,128 crore rupees in the year ending March 2019. However, its net losses mounted up to 2,367 crore rupees as against 387 crore rupees posted a year ago.
3. Dentsu APAC CCO quits after seven years

Dentsu APAC’s chief creative officer, Ted Lim departs after seven years. He will take on an advisory role effective immediately until June 2020.
4. Facebook tracks offline store data

Facebook has joined hands with top retailers who are sending it data on what the customers are buying in retail stores. Facebook, in turn, targets those customers with specified ads.
5. Billboard 200 to include online music video plays from streaming service

To get a more accurate representation of music landscape Billboard will now count official online music video plays from YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify and others in the Billboard 200 chart, effective from January.
