  1. Sunil Lulla appointed BARC India CEO
    Sunil Lulla, ex-group CEO of Balaji Telefilms is appointed as the new CEO of BARC India. This comes after Partho Dasgupta, the first CEO decided to step down. Dasgupta and Lulla are working with the BARC teams for a smooth transition, as reported by Mint.
  2. Urban Ladder COO Rajiv Sritvatsa resigns
    Urban Ladder’s chief operating officer Rajiv Srivatsa has resigned, eight years after he co-founded the online furniture retailer with fellow IITian Ashish Goel. He will continue to be ‘engaged shareholder and board member’ and work with Ashish on strategic initiatives.’ 
  3. Unacademy assigns media mandate to Initiative Media
    IPG Mediabrands’ media agency Initiative India has bagged the media duties of Bengaluru based edu-tech startup, Unacademy. The account is estimated to be worth 100 crores rupees.  The business will be handled by the agency’s Bangalore office.
  4. Dove switches to recycled plastic bottles and plastic-free packs in North America and Europe
    As part of its 2025 commitment to reduce plastic waste, Dove announced that its bottles of shampoo and cream will be made from 100 per cent recycled plastic in Europe and North America. Even its soap bars will be replaced with an alternative plastic-free coating.
