1.Parle’s Rola Cola candy makes a comeback

Parle Products brings back its Rola Cola candy on consumer demand. In fact the FMCG targets sales of 100 crore rupees in the first year of its relaunch after 2006. This will account for 10 per cent of its overall turnonver as reported by PTI. The company started its distribution after production in mid-September.

2. Instagram rolls out new feature to counter bullying

Instagram announced of a new mode called “Restrict” on its blog post. This lets account owners effectively shadow ban a user who comments on photos with offensive or abusive language. 

3.Fila signs up K-Pop band BTS as brand ambassador

The widely popular K-pop band BTS has been named the global brand ambassador of Fila, the Italian sportswear brand. The first campaign is expected to hit early next year across America, Europe and Asia, and will feature the message “One World, One FILA.”

4. Dan Consult appoints Rahul Jaiswal as Principal -Ecommerce

DAN Consult has appointed Rahul Jaiswal as principal – e-commerce. Prior to this Jaiswal was deputy director – category marketing at Myntra. He will be based in Mumbai and report to Lalit Bhagia, CEO, DAN Consult.
