Amid the consumption slowdown, ITC Ltd will continue to aggressively roll out its new FMCG products to drive sales and capture market share, as reported by Economic Times. It will launch 50-plus products in the next financial year.

2. Disney+Hotstar goes live ahead of Disney+’s India launch

Disney’s streaming service Disney+ preponed its entry in India as it went live on March 10 via Hotstar. Rebranded as Disney+ Hotstar, the original launch date was March 29.

3. Unilever’s brand and marketing investment rose by 1.7% in 2019

Unilever has increased its brand and marketing investment by 1.7% i.e. 122 mn Euros in 2019 to 7.27 billion euros according to its annual financial report, as noted by Campaign Asia. This rise in the budget can be attributed to its past decision to slash agency fees and the number of agencies in its roaster.
