1. Dentsu Media Products and Services names Michael Epstein CEO
Carat Global CEO Michael Epstein is taking on the dual role of Dentsu Aegis Media’s chief executive for brands and products, effective immediately, according to Campaign US. Epstein will now also be personally accountable for Carat, iProspect, Vizeum, dentsuX and Posterscope media brands.
2. ASCI investigates complaint against 408 ads in November
ASCI has investigated complaints against 408 ads in November, of which 137 were promptly withdrawn by the advertisers on receipt of communication from the same. While most of the ads were evaluated for making misleading claims, the independent Consumer Complaints Council of ASCI also upheld complaints against a couple of them for encouraging disregard to safety.
