1. Bloomberg to call it quits with Raghav Bahl’s Quint
Billionaire Michael Bloomberg, is looking to break his Bloomberg LP’s joint venture with Raghav Bahl’s Quintillion Media according to Moneycontrol. The New York-headquartered company plans to put an end to its third planned TV-stint in India – BloombergQuint. The company has already approached other Indian media groups for talks over a possible deal.
2. Thomas Cook India to acquire rights of the brand for India, Sri Lanka and Mauritius

Thomas Cook India has signed an agreement with Thomas Cook UK to acquire the rights to the Thomas Cook brand in India, Sri Lanka and Mauritius for a one-time payment of approximately Rs13.9 crore. So now Thomas Cook India can use the brand in perpetuity on a royalty-free basis.
3. Matt Collette joins Edelman to lead Asia Pacific digital

Matt Collette, former executive group director of Ogilvy Singapore, has joined PR agency Edelman Asia Pacific as vice chair of digital. In his new role where he reports to Asia Pacific COO Bob Grove, Collette will oversee the agency’s digital operations across 11 markets.
