In its fight against counterfeit and fake goods on its platform, Amazon brings Project Zero to India. This lets brands directly remove a seller’s listings from its platform. The initiative was launched earlier this year in the US, Europe and Japan. In India, about 10-11 brands, including Hindustan Unilever, had participated in a pilot to test the experience.

2. Hotstar posts Rs 1112.7 cr revenues for FY19
Hotstar has posted an operating revenue of Rs 1112.70 cr for FY19, as per media reports. According to the company filings cited by media reports, its total expenses have increased to Rs 1,677.51 cr for the same financial year.

3. Lodestar UM retains Mahindra & Mahindra’s media accounts
Lodestar UM has retained the media duties for the automobile company Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. The account size is estimated to be worth Rs 500 cr.

4. PHD picks up global media duties for LG Electronics
LG has appointed Omnicom Media Group’s PHD to handle its global media account. According to Campaign US, PHD Korea led the pitch for the agency. The incumbent agency Havas Media Group didn’t participate in the pitch.
