Madhuwanti reviews marketing activations by KFC, Axe, and Mumbai Police

This week we saw marketers playing around with ad-free platforms with innovative ideas. For starters KFC Arabia with its ad agency Memac Ogilvy sneaked into Spotify Premium, taking over artists’ profile to promote their new burger. Meanwhile Axe in partnership with Netflix’s hit show ‘Sex Education’ initiated a conversation around dating, sex, love and other similar subjects that US teen boys struggle with. Closer home Mumbai Police took an unusual step to curb noise pollution. My take on these activations this week.

Marketing Activations of the Week :
1. KFC
 ‘Anything But Ordinary’
Agency: Memac Ogilvy

2. Axe
#unawkwardtheawkward

3. Mumbai Police
‘The Punishing Signal’
Agency: FCB Interface
